How to Keep Your Eyes Healthy?

Eat a nutritious diet: Include foods rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, such as leafy green vegetables, carrots, citrus fruits, berries, fish, and nuts. These nutrients support eye health and protect against age-related macular degeneration and other eye conditions.

Maintain a healthy weight: Obesity increases the risk of developing conditions like diabetes, which can lead to vision problems. Manage your weight through a balanced diet and regular exercise.

Protect your eyes from UV rays: Wear sunglasses that block out 100% of both UVA and UVB rays when you’re outdoors. Prolonged exposure to UV radiation can contribute to cataracts and other eye disorders.

Take breaks during screen time: If you spend long hours on digital devices, follow the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes, look away from the screen and focus on an object 20 feet away for about 20 seconds. This helps reduce eye strain and fatigue.
